Raw English Honey
Raw English Honey from Local Beekeepers
Discover pure, raw English honey produced by bees cared for by Home Farm MK. Extracted from the comb, coarsely strained and jarred by our team, our honey is not pasteurised or fine-filtered.
Choose from beautifully runny blossom honey, smooth soft-set honey or naturally crystallised set honey. Every jar reflects the flowers and forage available to the bees, so its colour, flavour and texture can naturally vary throughout the season.
Choose Your Honey
Pure English Honey
Light, floral and beautifully runny. A versatile everyday honey for toast, porridge, yoghurt, baking and drizzling.
Soft-Set English Honey
Carefully prepared to create a smooth, creamy and easily spreadable texture, without adding anything to the honey.
Set English Honey
Pure English honey that has been allowed to crystallise naturally, creating a firmer texture and a rich, satisfying spoonful.
What Do We Mean by Raw Honey?
“Raw” is commonly used to describe honey that has been kept close to the condition in which it leaves the hive.
Our honey is extracted from the frames, passed through a coarse strainer to remove larger pieces of wax and jarred by our team. It is not pasteurised or fine-filtered.
We explain our process clearly so you can understand exactly how your honey has been handled.
English Honey with a Naturally Changing Character
Honey is a seasonal product. Its colour, aroma, flavour and texture are influenced by the nectar sources available to the bees.
Our bees forage across wildflowers, gardens, hedgerows and flowering trees in and around Buckinghamshire. As the seasons change, every harvest develops its own character.
Why Honey Crystallises
Crystallisation is a completely natural characteristic of pure honey. Some batches remain runny for longer, while others gradually become cloudy or set.
If you prefer runny honey, gently warm the sealed jar in warm water. Avoid overheating it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is your honey really raw?
Our honey is extracted from the frames, coarsely strained and jarred without pasteurisation or fine filtration. We use the word “raw” to describe this careful, minimal handling process.
Is raw honey the same as unfiltered honey?
Not exactly. Our honey is coarsely strained to remove larger pieces of wax, but it is not fine-filtered.
Why has my honey turned cloudy or solid?
Pure honey naturally crystallises. The speed and texture depend on the floral sources and natural sugar composition of each harvest.
Can I make crystallised honey runny again?
Yes. Place the sealed jar in warm water and allow it to warm gently. Avoid boiling or overheating the honey.
Where does your honey come from?
Our English honey comes from bees cared for by Home Farm MK in Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties.
Do you deliver raw honey throughout the UK?
Yes. We provide tracked UK delivery, local delivery in Milton Keynes and free collection from Bradwell Village.
Is honey suitable for babies?
No. Honey should not be given to children under 12 months old.
